Roulette is being played since roughly the 17th century, and results from complexity and style. This is a game of pure chance, in which the gambler is playing not against the dealer but against the odds. This is also an extremely easy game to learn. You must only predict correctly, where the ball is going to land on the roulette wheel. The wheel is evenly divided into 36 small cabinets, plus a zero spot, in which the roulette ball can easily fit. Your bet on the roulette table can cover a single number, which is the most focused bet, or it can cover several numbers, up to half of the total 36 numbers (18).

- Straight Up: this is a bet that covers a single number. The most focused bet, and therefore pays the highest rate of 35:1.

- Dozen Bet: another way to bet on12 numbers is to put a chip in the 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12, which are simply a different segmentation of the 36 numbers. This bet also pays at a rate of 2:1.
- 1-18, 19-36, Black/Red, Odd/Even: bets that cover half of the 36 possible numbers (not including 0 and 00). Each type has a box in which the chips are put. These bets, if won, pay even money (rate of 1:1)
Knowing when to quit, when playing roulette, is a necessity. You must gamble according to your budget, and stop when you have exceeded it. Dispersing your best all over the roulette table in different kinds of bets, increases your chances. Do not just go betting on your lucky numbers, do that but also bet on corner bets and five bets and enlarge your margin of wager. This way you will not have to rely so much on luck, but on statistics. Eventually your losses on focused bets with be compensated by wider bets. In case you win, increase you bets. But in case you lose, do not go thinking that next round you will make up for it, but return to your original bet.
If you still want to make wild bets, save a small amount of money from your total budget for that cause. If your lucky number has come up in the last two rounds, and you feel you must bet on it this time, use your wild-bets stash. In case you lose, only a small part of your budget will go to waste.
Now it is time for you to go out and enjoy the excitement at the roulette table!
